All applicants must be over 18 years of age, complete a registration application, and agree to abide by the NGH Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. There are no restrictions on who may attend the training. The training is both for those persons new to the field and for those who wish to refine their skills. A deposit of $150 is required to hold your place in a class. Enrollment must take place at least two weeks prior to the start of the class so that classroom space may be reserved.COURSE OBJECTIVE
This training program offers a comprehensive and in depth approach to hypnotic techniques. Individuals who complete this intensive training will develop the ability to use hypnotic skills effectively. This is specifically designed for those preparing for a career in hypnotism, or as adjunct in the health professions, for example, Physicians, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, Holistic Health Practitioners, as well as Clergy, Educators, Sales Persons and Athletes can greatly benefit from this program.
As a certified hypnosis therapist with the NGH techniques programs, you will become equipped with all the tools needed for helping individuals resolve problem areas in their lives. Your clients will benefit in mind, body and spirit.
The complete course includes over 100 hours of combined classroom instruction, homework assignments, practice sessions, and supervised practice. 75 hours of classroom and supervised clinical practice, and an additional 25 hours of homework assignments with written reports. You will practice all of the inductions and techniques learned in class. An additional 40 hours is required for Hypno-Analysis with 32 hours of classroom instructions and practice, and an additional 8 hours of homework.Genesis students enjoy in the participation of this dynamic class format consisting of lectures, Q & A, demonstrations of therapeutic processes and techniques in a friendly ambiance with hands-on supervised practice. During class students practice in pairs to utilize and perfect their ability of implementing the tools and techniques demonstrated by Terry Richmond, your instructor. The hands-on practice enables the students to sharpen their abilities of performance and confidence in the hypnotic techniques just learned.
After completing the Hypnotherapy course described in this information, the student is fully qualified to be a professional Hypnotherapist and may immediately begin practicing as such, whether self-employed, or to find employment with medical health professionals, or alternative healthcare professionals.

As a student of Genesis School of Hypnosis you will you become eligible for membership in the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association™. Upon completion of the certification training you qualify to take the IMDHA certification exam. The certification exam is given the last day of the Hypno-Analysis Course. The fee does not include the exam and the first year dues for IMDHA.

Do I need any previous knowledge or experience?
No, the course is very thorough and covers all aspects of hypnosis, psychology and hypnotherapy. No previous experience, or training is required.
Will the course be enough to equip me in a private practice?
Yes, the course provides detailed information on therapy and business. After completing the hypnotherapy course described in this information, the student is fully qualified to be a professional hypnotherapist and may immediately begin practicing as such. Many are successfully running private practice or utilize the process in the medical profession in some capacity.
Does the course cover all aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy?
The course is very thorough to the extent that the qualified student should then possess a greater knowledge of hypnosis; however, additional education is available for the student who is interested in further knowledge and enhanced professional status. Genesis School of Hypnosis in association with the Infinity Institute International, Inc., and the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association™, offers periodic continuing education seminars in hypnotherapy and related subjects.
Do I get any support?
Yes, both during and after you qualify. Your trainer, Terry Richmond, leaves the door open for communication with all of her students, and in addition, contact information of other students as a support group.
May I take the course without practicing as a hypnotist?
Yes. Many people just study for personal insight and self-improvement. It also enables them to help members of their family and friends.
What will I learn?
You walk away with a wide range of innovative proven hypnosis techniques as well as hypnosis and behavioral remedial therapies. Just to name a few: Transpersonal Hypnosis, Emotional clearing, Dave Elman Hypnotherapy Method, NLP Techniques, Regression, and the predominant one being the use of Hypno-Analysis to discover and remove the cause of problems experienced. Who can study, and do I need previous experience? No special academic or other qualifications are necessary - just a genuine desire to learn. It doesn't’t matter where you were coming from, all that matters is where you are going. All people from all walks of life can benefit from this program.
What happens when I pass the final exam?
When you complete all three courses at Genesis School of Hypnosis you are eligible to become a member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association ™. As a member of IMDHA you become a part of an international referral service whose purpose is to provide the community with excellently trained Certified Hypnotherapist's. IMDHA Certified Hypnotherapist's, will in conjunction with local medical and health care professionals, aid individuals with specific medical challenges and procedures. You can help people help themselves. It is very rewarding profession both spiritually and financially.
What is the licensing requirement?
There is no formal licensing for Hypnotherapist's at this time; however, the nature and scope of the hypnotherapy practice may require licensure in the future by the state.

The services Genesis Hypnosis offer are held out to the public as non-therapeutic hypnotism. The services offered are not intended to replace traditional medical or psychological treatments offered by any doctor.
